The CPSE Board of Directors has appointed Chief Brandon Fletcher (CFO, CTO) to the Commission on Professional Credentialing (CPC) as the Volunteer Fire Department representative.
Brandon Fletcher is the chief of Gilt Edge Fire Department in Burlison, Tennessee, a position that he has held since July 2015. He began his fire service career in October 2000 and is a second-generation firefighter with a background as both a volunteer and career firefighter in rural, suburban, and airport/industrial settings.
Chief Fletcher is a graduate of the University of Tennessee at Martin with a Bachelor of Science in Agriculture. He serves as a principal member of the NFPA Fire Officer Professional Qualifications and the NFPA Fire Service Occupational Safety Technical Committees. Chief Fletcher is a 2021 graduate of the Fire Service Chief Executive Officer (FSCEO) program through Texas A&M’s Engineering Extension Service and Mays Business School. He is also a member of the Institution of Fire Engineers (MIFireE).
He earned the designations of Chief Fire Officer in 2020 and Chief Training Officer in 2021.
