Excellence in Credentialing

In a parallel effort to recognize organizational excellence, the CPC is introducing the Excellence in Credentialing Award for 2025. This accolade spotlights agencies that champion professional designations within the fire and emergency service, aligning with CPC's core values and demonstrating a commitment to improved outcomes. Eligible agencies must have adopted the CPC Credentialing model and have members with professional designations. The nomination process, due annually by October 31st, focuses on replicability, innovation, collaboration, and tangible outcomes. A CPC subcommittee reviews applications and interviews finalists before recommending a winner to the CPC Commissioners. The award recipient serves as a model for the fire service, showcasing the transformative power of professional credentialing in elevating public safety standards.
