Who are the Technical Advisor Program (TAP) advisors?
What services does the Technical Advisor Program provide?
What’s the difference between consulting and CPSE’s Technical Advisor Program?
Unlike consulting, where all the work would be done for you, through our Technical Advisor Program (TAP) we bring a wealth of experience and work with your agency as a team to help guide you in the process. The end result is a product that was developed by your own agency, with guidance and planning from TAP.
Do we have to be going through accreditation to work with TAP?
No, we work with many agencies that are looking to improve how they operate.
If you are going through CFAI accreditation, you will be required to have a Community Risk Assessment-Standards of Cover, Strategic Plan, and Self-Assessment Manual. We can help you in preparing all these documents if you would like.
How does the process work?
How much does it cost?
Our pricing is based on type of project, size of agency, and travel costs.
Each project conducted by the Technical Advisor Program begins with a customized, no-obligation proposal that considers the overall organization, its size and scope, and any custom needs of the organization. If you are interested in a custom, no-obligation proposal, please contact CPSE.
Are there any discounts?
How long will it take?
The length of time depends upon what type of service you would like TAP to provide:
- Community-Driven Strategic Plan Facilitation
- Community Risk Assessment and Standards of Cover Facilitation
- Self-Assessment Document Facilitation
- Total Self-Assessment Process Facilitation
It can range from 60 days to 18 months. You can find more details at the Technical Advisor Program Overview page.
