The CPSE appoints Heather M. McGuire to the Commission on Fire Accreditation International representing city managers that oversee a CFAI accredited agency.

Heather McGuire has served as City Administrator for St. Charles, Illinois since 2021, overseeing an accredited Fire Department. Prior to her work in municipal government, Heather was a practicing attorney with a focus in municipal law. Her career in local government began in 2013 as in-house counsel, before transitioning to administration. 

Heather holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology from DePaul University. She obtained her Juris Doctorate from Northern Illinois University and is currently licensed to practice law in Illinois.
